"35 Minutes": A Project on how we experience the passing of 35 minutes. These 35 minutes are fundamental to the construction of history, they cannot be eliminated, otherwise the roof would fall through. In the thousand million years of our universe, these 35 minutes fulfill their own purpose, coming immediately after the last 35 minutes and slotting in nicely just before the next 35 minutes, signifying consistency. 35 minutes are 2100 seconds. 2100 seconds reveal the passage of time.

The intention of Los Torreznos’ work turns towards research and expressive experimentation through simple and accessible forms, such as gestures, language and presence, using humour to discuss issues that pertain to our day-to-day lives. Los Torreznos was created in 2000. Its members, Jaime Vallaure and Rafael Lamata, have been working together for over 15 years on different creative projects both independently, and in collaboration with other collectives.
