Lebanese artists Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige talk about their artistic journey spanning decades. The Paris-based artists, who were recently awarded the 2017 Marcel Duchamp Prize, showcase their use of multiple media, from video art, to documentary-drama films, and multidisciplinary art works.

Together, they have directed documentaries such as Khiam 2000-2007 (2007) and El Film el Mafkoud (The Lost Film) (2002). And numerous photographic installations, among them Faces, Lasting Images. Their artworks have been shown in museums, biennials and art centers around the world such as Musee d’art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and FNAC in France, the Guggenheim in New York; the Centre Georges Pompidou in France.
