Darat al Funun is pleased to present Mousiqana 3, a live concert of Arabic classical music by the participants of the 2016 music workshop. The participants spent five weeks of intensive training with Jordanian musicians Tarek Al Jundi and Alaa’ Takrouri, with the assistance of Yazan Sabbagh and Abdel Hadi Jaafar, participants of the previous two workshops. The music workshop is a continuation of workshops that were started in 2014, and consists of lessons on collective singing skills, musical sight reading, rhythm, playing the melodica, the recorder, the Oud, Violin, percussions, and music appreciation.
