Etel Adnan is a poet, painter, sculptor, and weaver. Her artist’s books, several of which are in The Khalid Shoman Collection, are inspired first and foremost by Arabic poetry. She stayed in residence at Darat al Funun in 1998 in the lead-up to her exhibition.
