Paloma Polo is an artist and independent researcher based in Utrecht. She studied Fine Arts at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Camberwell College of Art, later joining residencies at De Ateliers (Amsterdam) and Gasworks (London). From 2013 to 2016 she was a visiting research fellow at the University of the Philippines Diliman, with subsequent research hosted by Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers (Paris). In 2018 she received the Ojo Crítico prize from National Spanish Radio for her artistic trajectory. In 2024/25 she was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Syracuse University. Polo has exhibited internationally at Museo Reina Sofía, CA2M Madrid, Arts Catalyst London, Kurimanzutto Mexico City, and the 55th Venice Biennale.
