Yazan Ashqar is a writer and editor based in New York City. He has been writing art and cultural criticism since 2010 and has worked for several media and cultural institutions in ِAmman, Beirut, and New York. He joined Darat al Funun’s team in 2021-2022 as a cultural consultant, overseeing its editorial activities and curating its public cultural program.
