Jabra Ibrahim Jabra offered a comprehensive image of the Modern Arab intellect by writing novels and short stories, art critiques, essays and translations. He worked to promote modern theories both within and outside of literature. This year, Darat al Funun celebrates Jabra's legacy 20 years after his passing with a talk presented by Dr. Faisal Darraj, cultural consultant of Darat al Funun. Dr. Darraj is the author of "Jabra Ibrahim Jabra: A Facade of the Romantic Intellect" produced by Darat al Funun, which will be launched during the talk.
