Elsewhere, Within Here unfolds through a series of installations, screenings, performances, and gestures that evoke travelling bodies, stories on the move, and knowledges in transit. "Speaking nearby" the writings of filmmaker and theorist Trinh T. Minha, The Lab becomes a point of departure or otherwise a stop along the way for the passer-by, the traveller, the way-maker. At times “dwelling in passageways”, and often wandering across words, dialects, noises, linga francuas, participants navigate the frontiers of the here and there, centre and periphery, sameness and otherness, manifesting ultimately the futility of these binaries.
