In light of a globalisation of the music industry, popular local and traditional music has been reserved for touristic or occasional events, or has become a tool for decoration and celebration. There is a need for musical production that echoes hundreds of years of history, but with a contemporary improvisation that reflects our collective talent.

This workshop aims to hone the skills of musicians and vocalists, as well as introduce them to new techniques and sight reading .

The final production will be a live performance of musical pieces and songs that reflect our current reality, under the direction of workshop participants, and showcasing individual talents.
