We are proud to host an event by Al Balad theatre, presenting the late singer Rim Banna’s album “Voice of Resistance”. The album will be introduced by her mother, the poet Zuhaira Sabbagh. In spite of her illness and partial paralysis of her vocal cords, Rim Banna continued to record music, blending song, spoken word, and data from her medical scans turned into sounds. She is accompanied on piano by jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft.
