Roshmia is a feature documentary about 80-year-old Yousef and his wife Amra, who have lived in Roshmia, the last natural valley in Haifa, since 1956. Life is quiet until the municipality of Haifa endorses a new road project, which will result in the demolition of their humble home. In the course of negotiations with the Israeli authorities by their mediator and Yousef’s friend, Aouni, tensions flare up among the three characters.

Director: Salim Abu Jabal. The film is in Arabic with English subtitles (70 mins).
