selected by Yazan Ashqar

Tuesday 21 May 2013 | Main Building 6:30 PM

In this second selection, film critic Yazan Ashqar presents short films based on themes related to Mohamad Badarne’s work shown in the Lab. Starting with ‘Employees Leaving the Lumiere Factory’ from 1895, the first film ever projected to an audience, the selection takes us through more than a century of short films about workers, class, and social changes.
