Dr. Walid Khalidi is a prominent Palestinian historian and co-founder of the Institute for Palestinian Studies. He graduated from the University of Oxford in 1951. He was Professor of Political Studies at the American University of Beirut, a research fellow at the Harvard Center for International Affairs and a lecturer at Princeton University and the University of Oxford. He is also the founder of the Royal Scientific Society in Amman and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He published many books on the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, most notably: Lest We Forget (2001), Before Their Diaspora (2000), and Jerusalem: Key to Peace (2017).
