I Know the Emptiness of this House documents Ali Kaaf’s 2023 exhibition at Darat al Funun, featuring commissioned pieces as well as a range of selected works by the artist covering various artistic disciplines, from drawings of paper and ink to photography, sound, video, and installations. The works explore the fragility and the melancholy of loss, and investigate the spatial and visual relationship between home and exile.
