Rifqi Assaf's road movie The Curve follows an unusual journey. An agoraphobic man living in complete isolation in his VW minivan agrees to drive three very different characters to their destinations. Crammed in the vehicle, each one comes to see that, though their backgrounds are very different, all at a crossroads in their lives. This trip might be the challenge they need to set them on the right path. The film is in Arabic with English subtitles.

Rifqi Assaf is a Jordanian/Palestinian Filmmaker and writer. The Curve is his first feature length film winning script grants from Jordan Film Fund, AFAC and shortlisted as a finalist for Shasha script grant and has participated in a number of film festivals including: Dubai International Film Festival where it was nominated at the Muhr Feature Competition, The Festival International de Cinéma et Mémoire Commune de Nador, Seattle International Film Festival, East End Film Festival and the Arab Film Festival – Amman.
