Over a span of ten days, eight artists engaged in a workshop dedicated to making films that delve into the visual, audio, and written accounts of life in Gaza amidst Israeli aggression. The works produced aim to amplify the Palestinian narrative and honor the Gazan Sumud.
The resulting films present a blend of personal stories and more communal perspectives, with some focusing on specific moments of life under bombardment, while others explore the wider context of Gaza and its importance within the larger Palestinian struggle for liberation.
The films are screened in Arabic with English subtitles.
Participants: Badr Al Attiyat, Basil AlZeri, Ghada Aljabri, Hala Abu Khadija, Hiba G. Isleem, Israa Al Hanbali, Manaf Al Youssef, Zahraa Hasan.
