In tribute to the late Tunisian director Fadhel al Jaziri, Darat al Funun presents a screening of Al-Hadhra. The Hadhra is a Sufi tradition practiced since the ninth century, bringing together collective recitation of litanies and devotional poetry, and gathering those present into a state of contemplation before the divine. Through the film, al Jaziri approaches this tradition not as a static relic but as a living heritage.

The film will be screened in its original Arabic version with English subtitles.
