Do You Love Me looks back at more than seventy years of Beirut through the images and sounds that have captured the city over time. Moving across film, photography, and audio recordings that have entered the collective memory of Beirut and Lebanon, the film pieces together a fragmented history of the city, its people, and its many worlds. Built from extensive research into more than 20,000 archival items, it offers a vivid encounter with Beirut through the traces it has left behind.
The film will be screened in Arabic with English subtitles.
