Darat al Funun is happy to invite thinkers, teachers, writers, artists, and cultural practitioners to propose reading lists around Farther Than The Eye Can See, the solo exhibition for Basma Alsharif at Darat al Funun until 29th March. One proposal or several will be chosen to lead a reading group that convenes at the Darat's library regularly until the closing of the exhibition. This is initiated as to encourage critical thinking and engagement with the artists' work in an open manner, where it is not limited by the art works at the exhibition, but are used as an instigator for open learning and exchange.

Everyone is invited to attend the artists' talk on Tuesday 24th January at 18:00, the proposal is due on the 30th of January, after getting the chance to meet the artist and seeing the exhibition. Everyone is invited to join the reading group as long as they read the texts and share ideas at the meetings.
