Catalogue documenting the first solo exhibition of Basma Alsharif in Jordan, a multimedia artist working between Chicago, Cairo, Amman, Beirut and Sharjah. The exhibition covered installations and photographs from 2006 until 2012. Alsharif’s works deal with the physical and emotional effects on us caused by our environments; like an artistic researcher, she explores subjects such as “place”, “content”, “media”, “social relationship”, “landscapes” and “urban structure”. The catalogue contains postcards, referring to some of her works from 2006 to 2007, as well as a short biography and artist’s statement.
