Aida Najjar

Palestine 1938 - Jordan 2020.

Dr. Aida Najjar was a writer and socioeconomic researcher. She published several papers, books and articles on women’s issues, social and political documentation, as well as communication and the media in the 20th century. She also worked as an independent expert and researcher with UN organizations that are specialized in media issues, social issues, women’s issues and development. Her publications include: “Jerusalem and the Pretty Girl”, “The Girls of Amman in the Old Times”, “Azzouz Singing for Love: Palestinian Stories from a Thousand and One Stories“, in addition to her remarkable book, Newspapers of Palestine and the National Movement 1900-1948, which is based on her doctoral dissertation.
