Anneka Lenssen is an assistant professor of Global Modern Art at UC Berkeley History of Art Department. She previously taught in the Visual Cultures program at the Department of the Arts at The American University in Cairo. She wrote the essay 'Distances greater than between these walls: On ideals and the constitution of an audience' for Arab Art Histories: The Khalid Shoman Collection (2013).
