Haitham Ennasr is an artist and interactive designer. Much of his work can be viewed through the vernacular of science fiction, folklore, labor, and intersectional revolutionary utopias. It includes drawings, paintings, sculpture, videogames, text, performance, and has been exhibited at Alt Space Loop (Seoul), Sursock Museum (Beirut), the Museum of the Moving Image (New York), and the Arab American University (Jenin).
Haitham is a senior UX Architect at Al Jazeera. He graduated from and taught in the Design and Technology MFA program at Parsons School for Design at The New School in New York City, was a fellow at the Home Workspace Program at Ashkal Alwan in Beirut, and a founding member of co-operative – تعاونية, a community of artists dedicated to supporting each other materially and immaterially, along with Mary Jirmanus Saba, Merve Unsal, and Illia Yakovenko.
