Haya Abdul Hameed is an installation artist whose art addresses the restraints that society often imposes on individual freedom. She has participated in several exhibitions at Darat al Funun the past years: her participatory installation "Knot" was chosen for our 2015 At The Lab program, in 2016 she participated in "do it بالعربي", in 2018 she took part in our 30th anniversary inaugural exhibition, and in 2019 she created a site-specific installation made of pencils for the exhibition LINE.
