Rheim Alkadhi is an artist engaged in an expanding visual art practice that has included photography, objects, installation, performance documentation, and published material. Her work can be seen as series of visual and conceptual reframings that invite viewers to exit the frameworks of war and military occupation, away from static notions of gender, ethnicity, and class. Relationships to various parts of the Arab region are called into question.
