Tania Tamari Nasir

Palestine 1941. Lives and works in Palestine.

Tania Tamari Nasir is a classical singer, writer, and literary translator, with several publications on Palestinian embroidery and cultural heritage. She performed the first concert after the opening of Darat al Funun in 1993 along with pianist and composer Agnes Bashir and performer Rania Qamhawi, celebrating the poems of Palestinian writer Jabra Ibrahim Jabra.

Tania contributed her personal reflection 'A Touch of Magic: A Constant Inspiration' to our publication Arab Art Histories: The Khalid Shoman Collection (2013).
