Beginning a series of films by Palestinian filmmakers, ‘Divine Intervention’ (2001, Dir: Elia Suleiman) is a love story, told in a surrealist style, between a Palestinian man from occupied Palestine in 1948 and a Palestinian woman from the West Bank.
