This interactive workshop aims to spark children's imagination while enhancing their drawing and visual expression skills. It focuses on reviving Palestinian folk tales and connecting them with contemporary examples from the children's daily lives. Using creative approaches, the workshop stimulates participants' visual, auditory, and sensory memories, allowing them to express themselves through art and dramatic storytelling. The workshop also encourages the development of creative writing, as children will be involved in crafting their own personal stories.

The workshop will take place at Darat al Funun every Saturday from 19 October to 23 November,
from 12 PM to 3 PM.
Open to children aged 10 to 13.

May Malhas is a researcher, trainer, and expressive arts educator with a Master's degree in Talent and Creativity, an international diploma in Montessori education, and a certificate in art therapy. She founded the initiative "My Story, a Story," which focuses on nurturing children's emotional and creative growth through folk tales and art. She also developed an award-winning experimental art program for children, which led to the publication of three books featuring their drawings, based on fifteen folk tales from the Arab world.
