Following the success of the music workshops of the previous two years, Darat al Funun invites emerging and young aspiring musicians aged 6-30 to apply to this upcoming workshop with musicians Tarek al Jundi and Alaa’ Takrouri to learn and practice the Melodica, the Recorder, and the Oud, singing with a choir and solo, as well as the skill of reading musical notation, rhythm and music appreciation. Those who have not had the chance to attend a music academy benefit by working with participants from the last two workshops who are fine-tuning their gained skills of conducting music. Workshop participants present the results in a concert in late July.
