As part of the exhibition Art Now in Lebanon, Darat al Funun presents Make Me Stop Smoking by Rabih Mroué.

In this performance, Mroué uses numerous anonymous and personal documents, videos, photos, newspaper clippings and eyewitness reports to reconstruct and re-appropriate the lost landscape of Lebanon. Through this complex system of meandering narrations, he questions the veracity and cogency of the archive as much as he negotiates the validity of the reconstruction of 'reality'.
