Sarah Rogers is an independent scholar. Her writings on modern and contemporary art of the Arab world have been published in Parachute, Arab Studies Journal, Art Journal and American Art Review. She worked at Darat al Funun as director of research in 2011 and co-edited Arab Art Histories: The Khalid Shoman Collection (2013), for which she wrote the introductory essay.
