Faiha Abdulhadi Ph.D, is a writer, poet, research consultant, feminist, community activist, and lecturer. She is the founder and director of Al Rowat for Studies and Research. She is also a member of the Palestinian National Council and the regional coordinator of the organization, Peace Women across the Globe. She worked as a consultant researcher for UNICEF in Egypt, the Directorate of Gender Planning and Development (Ministry of Planning in Palestine) and the Palestinian Research and Documentation Centre (UNESCO) in Palestine, in addition to having rich and varied experiences in various fields of research, literary criticism, oral history, women’s issues and political writing. She has published fourteen books, and dozens of studies and articles in Arabic and English.
