In 2007 Darat al Funun, in cooperation with the French Cultural Centre of Amman, hosted the debut exhibition of Haider's joint project with Syrian poet and artist Adonis. The show at Darat al Funun was Haider's first in the Arab World since he relocated to Paris in 1976.
