Samira Badran is a Palestinian visual artist. She studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in Cairo and Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Her father is the late artist Jamal Badran, who played an important role in her artistic development. In her long career, Samira Badran has always explored different artistic techniques. This is fully reflected in her 2017 animated video Memory of the Land, in which she used acrylic paint on paper, collage, ink drawing, pencil drawing, manual intervention on photography, and various animation techniques.

Memory of the Land had its first viewing in the Arab world at Darat al Funun.
