Elias and Yousef Anastas are partners at AAU ANASTAS Architects, and co-founders of Radio AlHara, Local Industries, and The Wonder Cabinet. Their studio focuses on linking crafts and architecture across a range of scales, from furniture design to territorial explorations. They have been strong advocates for the contemporary use of structural stone in architecture in Palestine and elsewhere, with a particular interest in the politics of stone as a low-carbon material, promoting more resilient cities and more responsible quarrying practices.

Elias and Yousef also co-founded Radio AlHara, a community-based online radio that weaves unconventional networks of solidarity through sonic experiences.

Most recently, they launched The Wonder Cabinet, a space-based initiative in Bethlehem for cultural production. It brings together a community of artisans and artists, bridging technical and artistic realms to cultivate a culture of global provincialism.
