Under Fire is a catalogue that documents the drawings made by Gazan artists Basil Al Maqousi, Majed Shala, Raed Issa, and Sohail Salem, salvaged from the fire of war. Under daily bombardments and forced displacement, artists in Gaza did not stop drawing. Deprived of water, electricity, fuel, and food, they draw with dry ball pens on school notebooks, medical packages, old paper, using natural dyes, tea, pomegranates, and karkade (hibiscus).
